Frequently Asked Questions

What about nappy creams?

These are not necessary to use with cloth nappies unless a rash appears. Rashes can occur with teething, illness or simply a lack of absorbency in the nappy. If you need to use a cream, line your nappy with a stay dry/disposable liner to prevent a build up of cream. If cream is used on the stay dry inner of the nappy, it is a good idea to scrub the fleece gently with a small amount of dishwashing liquid and wash well to remove this residue. A build up may cause leaking/rashes at it stops the stay dry fabric from allowing moisture to pass through to the absorbent inserts.
